    Optometrists and general ophthalmologists field a significant number of geographic atrophy (GA) patients. To ensure patients are promptly referred to retina specialists, Dr. Learned will highlight the risk factors that drive this disease, imaging modalities that are best suited for GA evaluation, the type of lesion patterns that place patients at high risk for progression, and new and potential treatments.
