    Recently, several new dry eye disease therapies have been approved by the FDA and studies comparing various therapies have been published. Join Program Chair Laura M. Periman, MD; Mile Brujic, OD, FAAO; and Jessica Steen, OD, FAAO, to learn about these as well as the pipeline.

  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Discuss pharmacologic therapies approved and in the pipeline for the treatment of dry eye disease, their known mechanism of action, and potential applications
    • Compare the known safety, efficacy, tolerability data of pharmacologic therapies and therapeutic devices approved for dry eye disease
    • Create personalized care plans for patients with dry eye disease tailored to the risk-benefit profile of the treatment, specific signs and symptoms, and other patient-level factors based on the latest evidence
