    Get ready for Round 2 of KOL KNOCKOUT™ in Oculoplastics with an all new lineup, including Drs. Kian Eftekhari, Andrew G. Lee, and Jeremiah Tao. Program Chair Dr. Andrew R. Harrison will officiate as these experts spar over complex cases of thyroid eye disease (TED) and its mimickers. You vote for the KOL that presents the best treatment strategy. The winner will advance to the live, in-person, final round at the Fall ASOPRS meeting in October. Get ready for a bout filled with clinical insights and expertise! 

    Note About Obtaining Credit:
    You must attend the course in its entirety.
    COPE guidelines dictate that in order to receive credit, learners must remain present at the synchronous virtual symposium until the end of the program. Attendees who meet the required instructional time established by COPE will receive an email with a link to obtain credit within 48 hours of the program's completion.

  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including the appropriate use of laboratory tests and radiologic imaging, to recognize the heterogenous presentation of thyroid eye disease and ascertain potential thyroid dysfunction
    • Propose medically relevant treatment regimens together with customized surgical approaches to address the physical burden and reduced quality of life due to thyroid eye disease
    • Formulate effective comanagement strategies with relevant health care professionals to optimize treatment outcomes and manage adverse events
