    This live-virtual symposium will focus on technologies considered part of regenerative aesthetics. The faculty will discuss how exosome technologies are developed and supplied; how they compare to stem cell technologies; and appropriate applications for these products, in addition to other topics.

    This activity is supported by an independent medical education grant from Rion Aesthetics.

  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • List and briefly define the categories of existing and emerging technologies considered part of regenerative aesthetics
    • Describe requirements for FDA approval or clearance of drugs and devices used in aesthetics and contrast to the marketing and regulation of cosmetic treatments
    • Describe how exosome technologies are developed and supplied, including the risks and benefits of nanoparticle delivery
    • Compare and contrast exosomes and stem cell technologies; identify where they may overlap
    • List appropriate applications for use of exosomes alone or as adjuncts to other aesthetic treatments, including injectables and energy-based devices
