  • Overview

This interactive satellite symposium covers timely issues about race and socioeconomics and how they influence patient care. Drs. Kim, Scott, and Singh will discuss disparities in retinal disease awareness, screening, and access to care among patients with the highest risk factors, as well as barriers to treatment, including patient noncompliance. The panel members also share their experience with these issues and potential solutions through case studies and discussions with audience members.

This activity is supported by an independent medical education grant from Genentech, a member of the Roche Group.
