Overview
In this MasterClass, Drs. Deborah Ristvedt and Daniel Terveen discuss the cataract surgery patient experience. They describe the biggest postoperative complaints that have the most significant impact on patient satisfaction after cataract surgery that the impact of those complaints on the patient experience. They also provide pearls for how to quantify the quality of the patient experience after standard cataract surgery.
This activity is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Ocular Therapeutix.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss cataract patients’ perceptions of intra- and post-operative pain and the impact that it has on surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction
