    Drs. Ibach and Terveen will discuss postoperative pain after ophthalmic surgeries, including the severity and incidence of it, the challenges faced when managing it, and current treatments available. 

    This activity is supported by an unrestricted medical educational grant from Ocular Therapeutix.

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Describe patient-reported data on postoperative pain and the role inflammation plays in the development of dry eye
    • Discuss the burden of postoperative topical medications, common barriers to treatment adherence, and how preservatives impact the ocular surface
