    This fun and exciting CME program is a game show-style quiz competition that features key opinion leaders (KOLs) as contestants. Hosted by Program Chair Gary Wörtz, MD, the first of three rounds will feature Preeya K. Gupta, MD; William B. Trattler, MD; and Robert J. Weinstock, MD, as contestants. 

    The program includes a brief presentation followed by patient case studies and each KOL weighs in on the treatment options. 

    There will be learning, laughter, and only one KOL left standing!

     

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    ·       Identify the potential benefits and drawbacks of using femtosecond laser technology for cataract and refractive surgery 

    ·       Discuss advances in adjunctive technologies for cataract surgery and how they can be used to improve refractive outcomes

    ·       Compare advanced intraocular lenses for cataract and refractive surgery patients to properly counsel patients and create personalized treatment plans based on patient expectations
