  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Outline the different technologies and products used to maximize visual outcomes delivered by premium IOLs
    • Compare the differences in visual acuity outcomes, quality of vision, and patient satisfaction achieved with different presbyopia-correcting and toric IOLs technologies
    • Review the characteristics and performance of different preloaded IOL delivery systems that improve reliability, reproducibility, and efficiency and reduce surgical complications
    • Describe best practices for the use and integration of advanced diagnostic procedures that improve refractive outcomes and surgical efficiency
    • Discuss how current and emerging femtosecond laser technologies can be used to reduce refractive errors and improve quality of vision
