Eric Donnenfeld, Ashley Brissette, Terry Kim, Richard Lindstrom, Neda Shamie, Bill Trattler, and Liz Yeu describe keratoconus, risk factors associated with the disease, and key parameters of keratoconus progression. They discuss the incidence and prevalence of keratoconus with various patient groups, as well as the standard diagnostic test criteria that should be used to identify keratoconus patients.
