    In this MasterClass, Dr. Vance Thompson discusses the presbyopia patient journey. He describes the impact of presbyopia on a patient’s quality of life and discusses who are good candidates for pharmaceutical presbyopia drops.

  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Outline strategies to increase comfort in finding, communicating with and educating patients about presbyopia correction clinical outcomes, costs, risks, and benefits, including quality of life and quality of vision considerations
    • Describe how the introduction of pharmaceutical presbyopia treatment options will impact patient interest in presbyopia-correcting IOLs and how these treatments can improve pseudophakic presbyopia-correcting IOL patient outcomes
