    In this MasterClass, Dr. Devries discusses environmental conditions that can cause dry eye flares. By the end of this class, you will learn what causes a dry eye flare, how often dry eye flares occur, and how to diagnose and manage these flares.

  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Review the prevalence and patient satisfaction impact of dry eye flares in high volume anterior segment surgery/co-management practices
    • Discuss the keys for diagnosing signs and symptoms associated with episodic flares of OSD in a high volume setting
    • Review case experiences for making therapeutic decisions for patients with variable grades of acute exacerbations of dry eye disease
    • Discuss the short and long term outcomes and follow-up regimen for dry eye flare patients
