    ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION In the following roundtable, experts in retina and uveitis discuss the risk of vision loss associated with each type of uveitis, evaluate the safety and efficacy of different treatment modalities for noninfectious posterior uveitis, including corticosteroids, sustained-release implants, immunomodulatory agents, and biologics, and discuss the potential advantages of steroid administration to the suprachoroidal space. TARGET AUDIENCE This certified CME activity is designed for posterior segment specialists, general ophthalmologists, and other eye care practitioners involved in the management of noninfectious uveitis.Supported through an educational grant from Clearside Biomedical, Inc.

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: • Describe the risk of vision loss associated with each type of uveitis. • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of different treatment modalities for noninfectious posterior uveitis, including corticosteroids, sustained-release implants, immunomodulatory/immunosuppressive agents, and biologics. • Discuss the potential advantages of steroid administration to the suprachoroidal space.
