    During this virtual symposium, retina specialists Sumit Sharma, MD, and Steven Yeh, MD, discuss ways to differentiate among acute, recurrent, and chronic uveitis, as well as available and investigative therapies to treat the condition. Drs. Sharma and Yeh also outline strategies on creating personalized treatment plans for patients with uveitis, based on the latest trial data and their clinical expertise.

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Summarize the clinical features of common uveitic presentations including postoperative and localized disease
    • Differentiate between acute, recurrent, and chronic uveitis
    • Describe the pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy of sustained-release uveitis treatments on the market and in the pipeline
    • Interpret clinical trial data to create personalized treatment plans for patients with chronic uveitis
